Awesome poster celebrating 100 years of Paramount is logo-riffic

Jun. 5, 2012by: Paul Shirey

Paramount Pictures is celebrating its 100 Year anniversary this year and aside from unveiling their new logo, they also had this sweet poster made, which highlights their many hits throughout the years in a minimalistic, logo-like way.

The print was created by DKNG studios and Gallery 1988 and is limited to 3500 (hand numbered).  They're being given to Paramount employees only.  Either way, it's a nifty item and a fun way to pass a few minutes.

See how many movies you can recognize:

It was almost perfect

And then I saw Beiber's Never Say Never. Maybe I'll just pop an Avengers sticker over him.

There are a few movies that can (and should) be there instead of Justin Bieber. Savign Pvt. Ryan, Napolean Dynamite, Clueless, Face/Off (unless I'm overlooking them). But hey, you can't make everybody happy all the time.

I think the main reason why Saving Pvt Ryan isn't on there was because it was mainly a Dreamworks movie. Kinda use that excuse for Iron Man too. It's a Marvel Studios movie. And Avengers is actually a Disney movie now. Even though it has a Paramount logo on it, Disney distributes it along with Iron Man 3 and future Marvel Studios movies.

Very cool poster (nice to see Team America, Beavis and Butthead and Jason make the cut). I wish there was an answer sheet for some of the ones I couldn't get

Definitely a great poster. But anyone else find it slightly odd that there's no movies from 1912?

There is a 1912. Right under the Paramount logo, right side, 3-4 down. The image looks like Queen Elizabeth I. And upon further research the movie was actually called "Les Amours de la reine Élisabeth" or "The Loves of Queen Elizabeth".

Lots of good ones. My "clever" award would be a tie between "Mommy Dearest" & "Fatal Attraction".

Nice Vertico. What's nice about that is that the picture IS the poster.

I went 84 for 100. Personal faves were for Super 8, No Country for Old Men, Psycho, and The Truman Show.
