I’m not going to pretend for a second that I’m anywhere near the age demographic that watches the MTV Movie Awards, but I did tune in for a few minutes at the beginning of the show to catch Aziz Ansari’s opening monologue.
Ansari’s Raaaaaaaandy was the only funny character in FUNNY PEOPLE, and he’s currently making Parks and Recreation one of the best shows on TV as Tom Haverford (“What hot DJ Roomba?!”). As expected, his monologue was pretty damn hilarious, and I have it for you below.
Ansari takes on the 3D movie craze and NEW MOON, which I’m shocked ONLY picked up five awards that night, including Best Picture. Annnd, that’s why I changed the channel after this opening was over.
