I’m not sure why Warner Bros. feel they need to tamper with Batman’s mystique by having him pose with a milk mustache for those antique Got Milk? ads, but they do and they did. We all know Batman doesn’t even drink milk. Bruce Wayne does, sure, but Batman drinks the blood of those who sin. He’s a bat man, remember? Milk mustache or not, this is a brand new picture of Christian Bale in the TDK batsuit, and that’s news to me.

Mut, your post ("Stay in school!") made me remember that Robocop sequel where he is programmed to be a good guy and keeps repeating good messages to the kids. Coincidence or not, the suit seems more umconfortable than the Robocop one, if that's possible.

If I remember correctly, CB did a "Got Milk" ad coinciding with Batman Begins as well. Anyways, you fucktards need to lighten up. It's just a goddam ad, and it's not gonna do shit to the movie. And, the suit looks fine. Chris Nolan has always been going for the realistic and practical route, and this suits looks a lot more functional and useful than Joel Schumacher's nippled wonders. The idea of having Batman in these ads is fine. The only thing that's a mistake is that god-awful batsuit. How Nolan can get everything else so right, and the suit so wrong (twice now) is baffling.

I'm not so sure how to respond to this, mainly because I agree with everyone who said that Warner just fu*ked up Bat's darkness via this poster...but I also feel it's not that big of a deal because it's just a side thing and doesn't link directly to the film. Still, I think Warner should have protected the film's darkness more and not have posters like this happen...or at least delay the poster...

Well, yeah The Bodyguard has a point. I'm not having nerd spasms over this poster, but it just seems out of place. I mean, if you used the Adam West Batman, it kinda suits the 'Get kids to drink' theme. This is the dark version (suit and all) and yet he's reminding us to drink milk. Nothing wrong, but out of place. It's like after Bats screamed at Flass in 'Begins' he also reminded Flass to...

I know comics are not all campy and fun. However, Marvel and DC do tend to target younger crowds. Kids love Superheroes and Batman is a major icon for them. Got Milk ads are meant to get kids to drink milk. Batman is an icon to many kids. People are making a big deal because they want their Batman to be only for them. The movie is dark in tone, but it won't stop them from making toys...

This is cool, wont take away from the movie at all and is just a kind of fun easter egg type thing... BUT... His head _STILL_ looks too round... I just hate the suit. I have very very VERY high hopes for the film, but meh at the suit.
