Batman vs. Water

I'm always the first to laugh at Aquaman but it looks like for once he might have one over ol' Batman. CNN is reporting that the water quality at Hong Kong's iconic harbor 'could pose a potential health risk'. Apparently, there was to be a scene where Bats would drop into the water and then scale some bamboo, but "when they checked a water sample, they found all sorts of things; salmonella and tuberculosis, so it was canceled. Now the action will cut to inside a building." 'Could' pose a problem?! Salmonella and tuberculosis are no joke! Well it sucks that we aren't going to get everything that was planned, but I'd like to think that I can do without Bats jumping out of something into water, and I saw Jackie Chan climb bamboo in the second RUSH HOUR, it wasn't all that. The report goes on to state that Hong Kong's harbor has long been polluted by industrial and residential sewage, and swimming is not recommended, no I definitely would not recommend swimming there! So there you go, schmoes, not only is JoBlo.com bringing you the latest in film news, it's also potentially saving your life!
Extra Tidbit: I guess two THE DARK KNIGHT articles in one day is the payoff for having to repeatedly report on the SEX AND THE CITY movie.
