Just what we need. Another Michael Bay. It seems as though the overblown director has found himself a protege by the name of Sam Bayer, who like Bay, came up in the world of music videos and commercials. Bayer (even their names are simiilar) is set to direct FIASCO HEIGHTS, a film about a a gunman who returns to the crime-ridden city of Fiasco Heights and teams with a degenerate gambler/private eye on the run from a syndicate to look for a beautiful femme fatale and a mysterious briefcase. Yep, sounds about right. Bay is set to produce. The one ray of light is that this film will apparently be heavily influenced by film noir, a genre I bet Bay wouldn't recognize if it bit him in the...

Extra Tidbit: BAD BOYS is by far Bay's best film and it was made like 15 years ago. That speaks volumes.

THE ROCK, DEFINITELY
While "Bad Boys" had its moments (I still prefer it as a whole to the sequel, which was too damn long), "The Rock" found just the right balance of talent and humor to sell me on all the bombastic explosiveness without a second thought. It's also possibly my favorite Nic Cage-as-action-star from his career.

Can't say anything about this but I can say that the 'I'd do Anything for Love' video was awesome.

I agree. Bad Boys and The Rock are his best by far (though I like his Meat Loaf's I'd do anything for love music video).
