Kate Beckinsale, Forest Whitaker, Guy Pearce and Dakota Fanning have signed on to star in the indie drama WINGED CREATURES. The movie follows a group of individuals who are left to grieve and recover in different ways after they all witness a brutal restaurant murder. The film is based on the novel by Roy Freirich. CREATURES is Whitaker’s first project since his nomination for the Best Actor Oscar. Beckinsale recently signed on to star in the Antarctic murder thriller WHITE OUT. Fanning, as you might remember from all the pointless hype, starred in the Sundance drama HOUNDDOG where her character was raped. The film still hasn’t been picked up for distribution so who knows when we’ll actually see that. Despire rumors and rumors, Guy Pearce will NOT be playing Harvey Dent in THE DARK KNIGHT. Sorry BATMAN/MEMENTO fans. Filming on CREATURES is expected to begin this March for director Rowan Woods.
