Bello, Breslin, Rape

Abigail Breslin and Maria Bello will star in RAPE: A LOVE STORY, an indie drama based on a novella by Joyce Carol Oates. The story follows a mother (Bello, natch) who is stalked by a gang who had previously raped her, but is protected by a sympathetic cop.

I’ve held back who will be playing the sympathetic cop, but it should be fairly obvious by this point. It’s a role, for a man of unspecified age or race, so of course it is Samuel L. Jackson. At this point I’m pretty sure babies straight out of the womb have seen at least three Sam Jackson movies. Half of them comment that Jackson played a doctor in SPHERE while they are having their umbilical cords cut.
