Remember when Ben Affleck was rumored to be up for THE JUSTICE LEAGUE directing gig, back when it was only going to be one film? That didn't pan out, obviously, but Affleck may still end up behind the camera for a DC comics movie.

Latino-Review has heard Ben Affleck is set to direct the planned solo Batman flick, from a script by BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE screenwriter and Affleck's ARGO scribe Chris Terrio, who is also writing the screenplays for both of Zack Snyder's THE JUSTICE LEAGUE movies. LR also says the project is aiming for a November 2018 release.

The site goes on to claim the full THE JUSTICE LEAGUE cast will be coming to this year's San Diego Comic-Con, which will include Green Lanterns Hal Jordan and John Stewart. That kind of gels with yesterday's report from Collider on how the reboot may focus on more than one Green Lantern, however there's no word from LR about Guy Gardner also possibly being in the mix.

SDCC 2015 is only a few weeks away, so if Latino-Review's scoop is true, DC and Warner Bros. must have already decided who is playing Hal Jordan and John Stewart, right? Well, LR also believes that Chris Pine is not in negotiations to play Wonder Woman's love interest Steve Trevor as previously reported, and is actually in the running to play Jordan. Pine was rumored to be up for the Hal Jordan role and, as the site puts it, WB is "Kahn-ing us J.J. Abrams style" with the Steve Trevor rumors. As for John Stewart, LR speculates that Tyrese Gibson may end up landing the role. Do you think there's any truth to these latest DCCU rumors?

DC's BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE opens on March 25, 2016.
