When AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON hit, there were quite a few complaints that the relationship between Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow and Mark Ruffalo's Hulk - that it didn't feel genuine. While that particular love story might have been half-baked, I think it's more a testament to Widow's authentic-feeling friendship with Hawkeye and Captain America than anything else. Speaking of, the international trailer for CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR contains a small moment between two old friends who recognize the farce that is this civil war. Take a look!

It can be difficult to believably turn heroes against each other, so I'm hoping the Russos have put together one compelling story in which we can buy into all of the characters' motivations. There's enough pressure on the filmmakers as is to deliver not only a great follow-up to WINTER SOLDIER, but to do justice to the material on which this film is based. Then again, it couldn't be any more panned than BATMAN V SUPERMAN, could it?

CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR hits theaters on May 6, 2016.

I can understand why Iron Man and Captain America are fighting, but why would Hawkeye and Balck Widow fight each other? It doesn't feel authentic, especially with them cracking jokes while fighting.

Glad to see these two still having some fun with one another while fighting with their witty banter.

fight in parking lot area

Where Tony calls out "underoos" and heros run into battle against one another. I wonder if that's a training session or them just sparring with one another.

As I've said before, I'm disappointed that they've built up genuine issues between Stark and Rodgers only to have them make up by movie's end...twice. Let it build, finish unresolved...and explode when a massive reason to butt heads comes up. This movie is going to bring yet another reason for them to butt heads...and will probably finish with them resolving it. My one concern about this movie is too much going on...when they've got a really massive story to tell - moreover, from what I can
As I've said before, I'm disappointed that they've built up genuine issues between Stark and Rodgers only to have them make up by movie's end...twice. Let it build, finish unresolved...and explode when a massive reason to butt heads comes up. This movie is going to bring yet another reason for them to butt heads...and will probably finish with them resolving it. My one concern about this movie is too much going on...when they've got a really massive story to tell - moreover, from what I can tell, Panther's fight has got nothing to do with the reasons Rodgers and Stark are going to war... and I'm not even sure they're going to war about the superhero registration act - almost seems like Stark loses it over what happens to Rhodes. Trailers can be notoriously misleading so hopefully I've got it all wrong and it falls in to place. It's reassuring to know that Russo's are behind this - hopefully it'll be alright. Still for the movie world, I prefer the idea of the Winter Soldier killing Howard Stark, and Rodgers need to protect Bucky being the cause of the Civil War and hope that's where this goes.

On Widow, her relationship with Barton is clearly that of a good friend, reinforced by the fact that together with Fury, she's the only one that knew of his wife and kids. With Rodgers, Winter Soldier gave them a great grounds for developing something. I can understand why it wouldn't go on to develop in to anything though. With Banner, it does seem far fetched especially as Norton's Banner was clearly so in love with Betty. I'm annoyed that they've totally dismissed this fact... made worse as that they've bought her dad back in Civil War. Where's Betty then? For what it's worth, I loved the relationship depicted in the Incredible Hulk.
