Daniel Craig is back in action as Bond on the set of Skyfall

It's exciting to see Daniel Craig back on set as James Bond for Sam Mendes' SKYFALL. Speaking of Mendes, I'm can't wait to see what he does with the franchise. Typically, he's the go to drama guy, but has dabbled in action scenes in movies like JARHEAD and ROAD TO PERDITION. He gets wonderful shots and creates a great atmosphere with his films so this shouldn't be any different.

New set photos from the film have emerged with Craig toting a gun and moving swiftly to...I have no idea. I'm a little puzzled why it looks like he's aged 15 years since he's in his early 40s. Make-up? Bad lighting?

The film also stars Javier Bardem, Dame Judi Dench, Naomie Harris, Berenice Marlohe, Ralph Fiennes, Albert Finney, Ben Whishaw, Helen McCrory, and Ola Rapace. In this installment, "Bond's loyalty to M is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost."

Awesome.

In the first pic it looks like Bond just survived an explosion and pulled himself out of the debris and on his way to get a Dry Martini (you know the rest)... Or someone forgot to take the suit to the dry cleaners and Daniel Craig doesn't have his make-up on and is kinda pissed about it.
Second pic James Bond forgets where he parked his invisible-car and the immobilizer batteries are flat..(damn)
Third pic, ditto
Fourth pic Bond chasing down a bisexual, tranny quadruple agent who briefly

We dont know whats going on in his personal life. Stress can do this to a person as well as he just may not be aging well as I first saw this in GWTDT as he looked closer to 50 in that movie at times. Well, so long as he's in physical form, it should be good

Yay, new pics of the great Daniel Craig returning as the most badass bond ever. Look at him running. Probably running to a high class bar to grab a martini, perhaps bang at least 4 girls within a 24 hour period, and/or running towards an army of henchman to punch the shit out of. I count the days till the awesomeness that is Bond hits the big screen. I feel men should wear suits and have a Martini in their theater cupholder when seeing a Bond film in theaters. Women are to wear revealing yet

Anybody think this is going to be some sort of a more straight forward Secret Service-type movie? A lot of the shots of him in public and now of this one in a suit and the earpiece make it seem less espionage and more "general security detail". But perhaps that's an aspect of the angle this new flick is taking?

I hope this one tops Casino Royale. C'mon Mendes, work some magic here.

And yeah, he's not too old. I think it's a combination of harsh lighting and fuzzy stuff between the camera and Mr. Bond.

I'm I the only one who thinks Craig is a terrible Bond? He can do the action, sure, but Bond is supposed to be smooth and suave and laid back. In Casino Royale he calls the bond girl a bloody idiot.

He resonates of Ian Flemming's original books. THIS IS BOND. The suave thing was exaggerated with connery and continued throughout the movies with the hoky poky gadgets etc. Tim Doltan was the first Bon the actually got right according to source material. Gritty, mean, and a blunt instrument in a suit. The Golden Eye Brosnan continued that feel but fell short in the rest as they went back to the exaggerated gadgets and more suave than gritty which is how Bond was written. Craig's Bond

That's why I like him. A secret agent, in his dangerous and perilous dealings, shouldn't be "smooth, suave and laid back". He should be tough, raw, violent, imperfect. His job description is anything but easy, like DJing or something, you know what I mean?

It's Ok

I have allways think that craig serve better as a Bond Villian than a Bond Character, but in a manner that's what separates him from other 007 characterizations, he looks real, and badass by the way, I mean, he doesn't have to be a bishonen(japanese for girl looking boy) like some of today's heroes. Ahem*Spiderman*Ahem!
