Boo! A Madea Halloween is real and Tyler Perry has the trailer to prove it

03.04.2016

Tyler Perry has done very well for himself. Whether his films are for you or not, it's hard to deny that he has carved out a loyal audience that responds to his work and supports it loyally. Many storytellers and filmmakers wish they could have found the success Perry has as he manages to keep on doing what he does however he wants to do it.

Case in point... BOO! A MADEA HALLOWEEN.

That's a real thing, you know...

Perry has made a Halloween movie set to drop this October that will take his notable character Madea and have her fighting zombies and ghosts and...

In TYLER PERRY'S BOO! A MADEA HALLOWEEN, Madea winds up in the middle of mayhem when she spends a hilarious, haunted Halloween fending off killers, paranormal poltergeists, ghosts, ghouls and zombies while keeping a watchful eye on a group of misbehaving teens.

That movie is actually happening and say what you want about Perry's other films, I may have to go out of my way to see that. Come on... You know you're at least the slightest bit curious about how batshit insane this thing might be, and the new teaser trailer for it only aids any possible interest that might be growing inside.

TYLER PERRY'S BOO! A MADEA HALLOWEEN opens in theaters on October 21.

You're missing something:

No reference to 'Top Five'? The Chris Rock movie had this very idea as a joke/fake movie in that movie.

I'm not a big Tyler Perry Fan..

Not because I think his movies are bad, they're just not my Forte. But the idea behind this movie sounds so crazy that I think I will go see this.

Hollywood is Racist if this get no nominations next year

Madea movies are the cornerstone of everything that makes Hollywood great. I dont even have to watch this trailer to know the movie will be brilliant, I just know. When will the Hollywood elites award such high level social satire with gold statues?

Yeah. Cause you can tell he's really going for the Oscars with this one as opposed to the grand canyon of cash he's made off of this character. I dunno if that comment makes you racist, stupid or both.

it has nothing to do with racism you race card pulling imbecile. It has to do with, if you keep making garbage movies, you'll keep being ommited from prestigious awards.

Every race of people make stupid, slapstick, goofy or as you like to imply, terrible movies. Your statement makes no sense at all except underlining or subconscious racism.

"This is why they struggle for Oscar nominations" has nothing to do with race after we had a year with #oscarssowhite all over the place? Ha! Whatever dude.

"and this is why they struggle for oscar nominations"

You may not have intended to sound racist with your comment but when you say "they" it connotes that Perry's Madea represents all black people. It is a gross and inaccurate generalization.

Could I say the same thing about Ghostbusters (2016) in regard to white people?
No. Because that would be effing stupid.
