There isn’t a lot we know about season two of TRUE DETECTIVE, creator Nic Pizzolato has said about the returning HBO series that it's "not about solving a murder mystery but a story of a detective chasing after an elusive criminal," which really isn’t anything. We also know that Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson will not be returning.
Speculation regarding season 2 is getting hot today as an interesting casting choice is being reported. The unconfirmed report is that Brad Pitt could be set to star in the upcoming second season. According to the Mirror, the actor is "close to signing a deal" to star as the main cast member and reportedly "thrashing out last minute details of a deal" with HBO.
I would consider the source before you text your friends to ask them "what’s in the box?" as this report could be based on nothing; the Internet does that sometimes. I just thought I would take this time to ask you kind folks if Brad Pitt is your number one choice for a role in TRUE DETECTIVE? And if not, who else you got?
We could also just have a 60 minute show where we just look at Alexandra Daddario; that could run and run (we shall never forget THIS). Pay me.
