Bradley Cooper's bringing some serious heat as a chef in the Burnt trailer

Adam Jones (Bradley Cooper) was a chef who had it all - and lost it. A two-star Michelin rockstar with the bad habits to match, the former enfant terrible of the Paris restaurant scene did everything different every time out, and only ever cared about the thrill of creating explosions of taste. To land his own kitchen and that third elusive Michelin star though, he'll need the best of the best on his side, including the beautiful Helene (Sienna Miller). Can you handle the heat? Then it's time to get into the kitchen with the trailer for BURNT!

A lot of folks went for the food-truck mentality of Jon Favreau's CHEF, but this latest entry into cinematic food porn comes to us via the streets of London. Bradley Cooper is a phenomenal actor, and it certainly doesn't hurt that he's surrounded himself with the likes of Sienna Miller, Lily James and Alicia Vikander. Good Lord, it's already hot enough with that group WITHOUT getting into the kitchen! Now the title makes sense!

BURNT will hit theaters on October 23, 2015.

Looks good and a fun way to spend a couple of hours. I absolutely loved Chef, so if it's anything like that film and/or half as good, then fine with me.

And watching this makes me reminiscent of 'Kitchen Confidential' with Cooper. Terrific show.

I liked this movie better when it was called Chef, jesus even some of the dialogue & scenes were similar, how unoriginal.

Sigh

Those claiming this is far too overdramatic for "food" or "cooking" don't know first or second-hand about the industry.

I confess, I never worked in the restaurant/food industry and I rarely watch stressful cooking shows like Hell's Kitchen. I take it you work in the industry, then. So people will actually try and kill anyone who tries to open a restaurant in Paris? That's what stood out the most and the main reason I commented like I did. Is it true? Care to cite a few examples?

I don't know if this will be a good movie. I do like the rhythm of the trailer (even if it feels patterned on the Steve Jobs trailer). And I generally trust Steven Knight to deliver in the script department.

Who knew cooking could be this serious? Isn't it overly dramatic? I think I heard, in the trailer, that if somebody tries to open a restaurant in Paris, someone will actually try and kill you? Wut...?

Umm...didn't Cooper already play this role on tv in "Kitchen Confidential"? It was based on Anthony Bourdain's biography, and Cooper played the main character, Jack Bourdain.
