One of my favorite recent fright flicks was director Karyn Kusama’s THE INVITATION. It is with this in mind I am keeping a close eye on her newest film, the "Nicole Kidman vs a cult" thriller DESTROYER.
DESTROYER is already set to star Tatiana Maslany and Sebastian Stan alongside Kidman, and today we have news that Toby Kebbell (KONG: SKULL ISLAND) and Scoot McNairy (68 KILL) have joined as well.
On top of those stellar names, we also learned out of my favorite actors Bradley Whitford (GET OUT and CABIN IN THE WOODS) has signed up as well. So cool. That's a hell of a lineup! Bring it on.

DESTROYER synopsis:
LAPD detective Erin Bell who, as a young cop, was placed undercover with a cult-like gang in the California desert with tragic results. When the leader of that gang re-emerges many years later, she must work her way back through the remaining members and into her own history with them to finally reckon with the demons that destroyed her past.
DESTROYER is directed by Karyn Kusama from a script by Phil Hay and Matt Manfredi. The film stars Nicole Kidman, Tatiana Maslany, Sebastian Stan, Toby Kebbell, Scoot McNairy, and Bradley Whitford.
DESTROYER is all set to begin shooting next week in Los Angeles.
