Bryan Singer shares his fourth Cerebro from the set of X-Men: Apocalypse

03.06.2015

The age of Twitter must be absolutely terrifying for Hollywood agents. You get actors opening their mouths and saying something particularly horrible or the odd “oops, I didn’t mean to share that picture of my dick with everyone.”, but for every one of those there’s someone like Bryan Singer who gets to share behind the scenes photos from his latest films. We’re privy to an incredible amount of information before a film is even released thanks this type of direct relationship with celebrities. Whether that’s a good thing or not is up to you, but personally I love getting a peek behind the curtain every now and then.

Our latest peek at X-MEN: APOCALYPSE comes from Bryan Singer himself whose proud to show off his fourth Cerebro set. You’d think they’d just keep it in storage by now.

X-MEN: APOCALYPSE is said to be the final film in the trilogy that began with X-MEN: FIRST CLASS. What form the next trilogy will take is unknown, will they keep the X-MEN: FIRST CLASS actors around or perhaps they’re hoping the young actors who recently stepped into the roles of Cyclops, Jean Gray, and Storm will take lead in a new series. Lets hope they don't forget Kodi Smit-McPhee as Nightcrawler this time around.

Whatever the future may bring, we can at least look forward to the conclusion of this trilogy when X-MEN: APOCALYPSE hits theaters on May 27, 2016.

What do you want to see in the next X-Men trilogy?

Hopefully they keep the younger actors to have a consistent roster of X-Men in each film. I know this recent trilogy was all about Prof. X, Magneto, and Mystique. But having a title of X-Men and no team was a little disappointing (a minor foot note on otherwise great movies). So hopefully Cyclops, Jean Grey, Storm, Angel, and Nightcrawler stick around for the next trilogy.

As for the next trilogy, it might be cool to switch things up a bit and not have Magneto in the films. The X-Men

The X-Men have a pretty decent rogues gallery, it might be cool to see them go up against some of those characters instead of either going up against humans that want to kill them or Magneto in every movie. I think they should recast Prof. X for someone slightly older than that McAvoy as well. Or if McAvoy is down to return, then have him shave his head for the part.

What I want to see in the next X-Men trilogy? Cameltoe on Mystique's full body make up.
Also, Cable and The X-Force. Archangel. Return of Nightcrawler which I don't even care if he's recast.

No, not really. I just find the whole Cerebro thing incredibly, incredibly dull as a plot device.

Professor X in these movies was born in 1932. By 1984 (when this movie takes place) he should be in his 50s.

I think he will either lose his hair, be balding or just be bald in this movie.

Would be cool If the nes trilogy jumped into the future and explored the charecters post Magneto and Professor X. I believe Wolverine was leading them at one point.

I'm hoping Psylocke will get a decent role sometime soon? I *think* a version of the character may have appeared in Last Stand though?

mr. sinister is good, especially with a rebooted cyclops and jean. but his plot to breed a perfect race is kind of too weird, no?

I bet they mix in Deadpool for the Mr. Sinister movie. It makes sense, Wolverine, Deadpool and the "new" Xmen actors vs Mr. Sinister.

Considering their link, Sinister SHOULD be in this film... If only as a post credit cameo... After all, it's Apocalypse who gave Essex his immortality, and it always was Sinister's interest in the Grey and Summers bloodlines that drove Apocalypse to confront the X-Men...
