Burn After trailer II

BURN AFTER READING has gotten itself a new trailer, which you can check out over at MSN. Obviously it’s awesome, and obviously your mind boner will have a little mind boner all of its own, since you know, Coen Brothers, Brad Pitt, George Clooney, J.K. Simmons, and the security of John Malkovich’s shit. The film is about a disk containing the memoirs of a CIA agent (Malkovich), which ends up in the hands of two gym employees (Pitt and Frances McDormand) who attempt to sell it.

Question: would you still be as psyched about this movie if instead of coming off the back of NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN, that movie had never happened, and it was instead coming off the back of INTOLERABLE CRUELTY and THE LADYKILLERS*?

*Also in this alternate universe Amy Ryan won the Best Supporting Actress Oscar and I therefore still had two hundred pounds in my bank account.
