Cabin Fever: Patient Zero has a composer

Last Updated on July 23, 2021

Is there a reason to get excited about CABIN FEVER: PATIENT ZERO? The second entry didn’t exactly set the world on fire and the first entry in the series seems like distant memory in Eli Roth’s career. Does anyone out there actually think this prequel going to be anything more than an unnecessary cash grab?

If so, your argument will soon by aided by this latest bit of news. PATIENT ZERO has received its composer. Kevin Riepl, the man who scored such projects as SILENT NIGHT, THE AGRESSION SCALE, and ALIENS: COLONIAL MARINES, will be writing the music for the film. The guy has an impressive resume, so perhaps his involvement marks a film with a bit more substance than I’m giving it credit for.

CABIN FEVER: PATIENT ZERO is set for release sometime in 2014. The film is directed by ALTITUDE filmmaker Kaare Andrews and stars Sean Astin, Jillian Murray, and Brando Eaton. Enjoy a synopsis for the movie below and, while you’re at it, enlighten us as to your own feelings on the prequel.
