CAN: Wrap-Up!

THE
2006 CANNES WRAP-UP

Another year of coverage
at the Cannes Film Festival has come to an end, and as per usual, we
tried to cover as much cool shit as we would all enjoy (we reviewed
about 20-25 movies between us, as well as all kinds of other shtuff),
and hopefully you guys enjoyed most of it as well. For our own sake,
please use the FEEDBACK FORM below to let us know what you
liked and didn’t like about our coverage, so that we can keep
focusing on the good shit in the years to come. We’ve put together
all of the pieces of our coverage below, including all of the newly
introduced “video stuff” this year. Want more of that?

My favorite flicks at
this year’s festival were easy in Guillermo del Toro’s PAN’S
LABYRINTH
and Kevin Smith’s CLERKS II. The worst? Well,
Richard Linklater’s FAST FOOD NATION sucked pretty bad, but
even worse (sadly) was Richard Kelly’s SOUTHLAND TALES, an
utter mess of a movie. That’s it for now, and I guess it’s back to
the “normal life” for me (i.e. work, jerking off and sleeping).

So what did you
think of our Cannes coverage? What did you like the most/least? What
would you like to see more/less of in the future?
