One of the best things about the Internet is seeing all of the unique perspectives on film. From fan fiction stories to YouTube spoofs, every person with a computer and some time has the ability to put their own personal stamp on the cinema that they love.
An artist known as “midnight marauder” has created 12 original posters for PROMETHEUS that he has dedicated to the memory of Jean “Moebius” Giraud, the famed French comic artist. They all take a very distinct visual style that evokes the dread and horror that the trailers have evoked so far. These posters are absolutely beautiful and I would love to have them hanging on my wall. Any one of them could easily be the cover for a potential Criterion Blu-Ray of the movie. Sir Ridley would be proud.
The amount of fan reaction that PROMETHEUS has created so far is fantastic. I hope that this movie makes a ton of money so that studios will continue to back smart, dark science fiction like this for years to come.
