Check out JoBlo.com’s new TV Reviews section!

Throughout JoBlo.com's 16-year existence we've stuck predominantly to feature films, making it a point to keep things as close to the cinematic world as possible. However, the medium of television has changed dramatically over the last decade, making it a venue for some of the best filmed entertainment, luring in talent that is usually reserved for features, and paving the way for what is commonly referred to as "the golden age of television." With so many outstanding shows hitting the airwaves, it's made it impossible to ignore some of the more esteemed content, even for us. In the past few years we've reviewed shows like Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Sherlock, True Detective, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Bates Motel, Hannibal, and more.

Although we remain steadfast in our dedication to film news, reviews, trailers, etc., we also don't want to sell our readers short of some of the outstanding programs that are airing on TV and opening up a venue for everyone to dissect and discuss TV the same as we do for film. Hence, the addition of our new TV REVIEWS section! The section, located in the top MENU next to "celebrities," will allow you to access our TV Review archives and get caught up on some of the shows we've reviewed and will be home to those we may review in the future. We've also been including TV shows in our end of the year Top Tens, of which we've done now for both 2012 and 2013.

With an onslaught of cool shows currently airing and on the way, we will continue to be selective in what we review, while also paying attention to what our readers are hungry for (see our latest poll on the subject). You can always e-mail us your suggestions here or hit us up on Facebook or Twitter, as well. Both Marvel and DC are expanding their brands into the TV and streaming markets, capitalizing on the popularity of the comic book genre, while other networks are set to kick off a number of cool new shows, including a Breaking Bad spinoff, Better Call Saul, a Preacher series being developed by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, and many more.

Upcoming shows that we'll be reviewing include Showtime's Penny Dreadful (for Arrow In The Head) and CW's Arrow (beginning with season 3, which will also include a season 1 & 2 wrap up) for JoBlo.com, while reviews for The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Hannibal, Bates Motel, True Detective, and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will continue into their next respective seasons. We look forward to sharing those reviews with you and hearing your own thoughts on them in the comments sections!

In the meantime, feel free to check out the new TV Reviews section right HERE!
