Check out the new shiny logo for Transformers: Dark of the Moon

I kept typing “Dark Side of the Moon” instead of “Dark of the Moon”. What about “Bark at the Moon”? Reminds me of that scene between Happy Gilmore and Shooter McGavin, “Hey, why don’t I just go eat some hay, make things out of clay, lay by the bay? I just may! What’d ya say?”

Back to the subject at hand, Entertainment tonight launched a promo for their upcoming episode. It’s nothing too noteworthy. The Entertainment Tonight special for TRANSFORMERS 3 behind-the-scenes will air on Thursday.

Last week the plot of the film was revealed in a book synopsis, “The Autobots Bumblebee, Ratchet, Ironhide and Sideswipe led by Optimus Prime, are back in action, taking on the evil Decepticons, who are determined to avenge their defeat in 2009’s ‘Transformers Revenge of the Fallen’. In this new movie, the Autobots and Decepticons become involved in a perilous space race between the U.S. and Russia, and once again human Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) has to come to the aid of his robot friends. There’s new characters too, including a new villain in the form of Shockwave, a longtime ‘Transformers’ character who rules Cybertron while the Autobots and Decepticons battle it out on Earth.”

Revealed within the promo was the logo for the film. Don’t expect too much.
