Check out the trailer for the documentary I Am Bruce Lee
I often wonder what the movie world would be like if Bruce Lee were still around. He left us with a handful of awesome films but after a usual Lee movie marathon, I'm left wanting more.
I've seen several documentaries on Lee and a few months ago heard about one that his daughter, Shannon Lee and his wife, Linda Lee Cadwell were helping out on. Finally a trailer has debuted for it. While I don't really give two craps about what one of the members of The Black Eyed Peas has to say about it, I'm definitely interested in checking it out.
The doc will show in limited release on February 9th and 18th at a theater near you. To see the list of places that will be showing the film, head to the official site.
Check out the trailer below.
"Bruce Lee is universally recognized as the pioneer who elevated martial arts in film to an art form, and this documentary will reveal why Bruce Lee's flame burns brighter now than the day he died over three decades ago. The greatest martial artists, athletes, actors, directors, and producers in the entertainment business today will share their feelings about the one who started it all. We will interview the people whose lives, careers, and belief systems were forever altered by the legendary "Father of Martial Arts Cinema". Rarely seen archival footage and classic photos will punctuate the personal testimonials. Prepare to be inspired."
