With word that JURASSIC WORLD is now the 3rd highest-grossing picture of all time, this announcement should come as no surprise, but is welcome none-the-less. A sequel to JURASSIC PARK has been slated for June 22, 2018. Set to return are Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard. As of now, Colin Treverrow will co-write the screenplay with Derek Connolly, but a director has yet to been chosen.

Following THE LOST WORLD, sequels for the JURASSIC PARK universe were hard to come by. A plethora of ideas came and went before Treverrow came along with his idea for a 4th, and it looks as though he set up a world that both pays homage to and reboots what was done with the original JURASSIC PARK. One could say to a fault, but I'll save you the criticisms. The date is set and more dinosaurs are on the way!

Who would you like to see direct the sequel to JURASSIC WORLD?
