It’s amazing to think about the longevity of SNL; I’ve been watching the show for over twenty years and it’s still exciting when guest hosts are announced you actually want to tune in to watch. Saturday Night Live is starting its 40th season off with this summer’s box office king Chris Pratt. He will be joined with musical guest Ariana Grande, who the kids seem to like these days.
Pratt is enjoying a great year with hits like THE LEGO MOVIE and GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY under his belt, and now we anticipate his next big movies, JURASSIC WORLD in 2015. If you’ve watched him on Parks and Recreation then you know that he can definitely bring the funny; that show will being its final season this fall with a 13 episode run. The week after Pratt, funny girl Sarah Silverman will step in to host for the very first time with Maroon 5 as the musical guest.
SNL’s 40th season begins September 27th 2014.
