MAN OF STEEL and BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE producer Christopher Nolan will not be involved with the planned DC movies that were announced earlier this month. This doesn't come as a big surprise, but Jonathan Nolan did confirm he and his brother won't be working on any future DC films when he spoke with Coming Soon during a press junket for their new film INTERSTELLAR.

I love those guys and my brother was involved in 'Man of Steel' with Zack [Snyder] and David [Goyer]. I kind of feel like that chapter for us is closed.

However, it does sound like there's a chance they would be interested in doing another comic book movie someday.

"To be continued somewhere farther down the line?" he asks with a smile. "Maybe."

I'm a big Nolan fan and love his The Dark Knight Trilogy, however I'd much rather see him work on other projects right now instead of comic book movies, even if he was only going to produce the films, and not direct or write them. Christopher Nolan is a fantastic director, and it'll be interesting to see what he'll do next after the release of INTERSTELLAR.

INTERSTELLAR will be in select theaters on November 5, 2014 before opening wide two days later on November 7, and BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE is scheduled to be released on March 25, 2016.
