Clips from Franco/Eastwood horror film ask ‘What’s in The Vault?’

Director Dan Bush's "THE TOWN meets THE SIXTH SENSE" haunted bank film THE VAULT is going to be released on VOD and in select theatres on September 1st, and with its release just a week away we have a pair of clips that offer a preview of a couple tense moments.

Starring Francesca Eastwood, Taryn Manning, James Franco, Scott Haze, and Clifton Collins Jr., THE VAULT tells the story of

two estranged sisters (Eastwood and Manning) who are forced to come together to rob a bank in order to save their brother (Haze), who burned down a warehouse owned by a notorious gangster. Franco plays an assistant bank manager who promises to help put the sisters back on track in return for a percentage of their take.

Bush wrote the screenplay with Conal Byrne.

There's something horrific down in the vault, and in the first clip a character encounters what appears to be a supernatural being as soon as the vault is opened. With things going wrong and getting weird, Eastwood confronts Franco in the second clip.

There's nothing truly stunning in these clips, but THE VAULT has my attention and interest. I'll be checking it out next month.

Give the clips a look below and decide if you'll be watching THE VAULT as well.
