Clive Owen is attached to star in the upcoming dramatic thriller CARTAGENA for bazillionaire producer/basketball owner Marc Cuban. Set up at Cuban's 2929 Productions, the film will star Owen as a federal agent undercover in a Colombian drug cartel who is attempting to escape with his life. The film will be written by Michael Ross who last brought us the unfortunate thriller TURISTAS. Owen has another international thriller on the way titled...THE INTERNATIONAL and also plays a former government agent in DUPLICITY. For a guy who didn't want to be James Bond, he likes playing government agents... CARTAGENA is still in the very nascent stages of production so it's unclear when filming might begin. Owen is currently shooting THE BOYS ARE BACK for director Scott Hicks (NO RESERVATIONS) and Miramax.

in the court of the crimson cuaron
Children of Men is a modern day classic. I wish for a reunion of Cuaron and Owen-and hippie Caine.

I've said it before and I'll say it again:

Clive Owen is a pimp.

Hands down, the coolest motherf@ckr in Hollywood. I'll watch him in anything.

OK, except Elizabeth II: The Golden Age.

Children of Men was awesome and he was great in it.

The International looks a bit like the Sydney Pollak movie, The Interpreter

Duplicity though, has Tony Gilroy behind it so that's worth something.

I've been a huge fan of Clive Owen for a few years now. I really wish he'd attempt to sink his teeth into something bigger. Children of Men was brilliant and he was excellent as well. I just wish he'd try to be a little more ambitious instead of selling out to these generic thrillers.

Though Duplicity looks promising.

Children of Men
I just watched it again the other night. Great movie. And that scene at the end, where all the soldiers are bowing, and then, somebody shoots and it turns back into chaos is just one of the best scenes of the decade.
