Cohen wants to Party | Movie News
Though he's currently terrorizing unsuspecting victims as flamboyantly flaming stylist Bruno, in-demand actor Sacha Baron Cohen is already looking to future projects where he's not humiliating poor schmucks in faux-documentaries. The first of these is apparently a remake of the Blake Edwards written and directed and Peter Sellers starring comedy THE PARTY. Cohen apparently met with Edwards at a recent screening of the film and they both sparked to the idea. In the 1968 original, Sellers starred as a bumbling Indian extra who mistakenly gets invited to an A-list Hollywood party and wreaks gut-bustingly hilarious havoc. Cohen would presumably play the Sellers part and bring an equal amount of uproarious hilarity to the role. Cohen can next be seen in Tim Burton's SWEENEY TODD: THE DEMON BARBER OF FLEET STREET.
