Comic Con: Full-size Guardians ship plus a touch of Thanos in new featurette

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

The San Diego Comic Con is in full swing, and the first cool bit we have for you is actually shots of a full-size ship on the show floor. Those of you with a keen eye will recall Rocket riding this bad boy directly into the camera for a lot of the GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY TV spots that have been airing lately.

Next up is a featurette that talks a bit about the relationship between Gamora and the equally deadly Nebula. I've been itching to see more of Karen Gillan's Nebula and this video delivers on that front. I'll be curious to see how much screen time she has come the final film. One other cool aspect is that we actually get a shot of Thanos on his throne that was first glimpsed in the 17-minute IMAX preview. Sure, he's facing the other way . . . but he's there!

Take a look:

I imagine we won't get our first good look at Josh Brolin as Thanos until the movie hits next Friday, but still, pretty cool. This film seems like a real crowd-pleaser, so I can't wait to dive into the deep end of the GUARDIANS pool. Meanwhile, if anything else GUARDIANS-related hits SDCC, you can bet your ass we'll get it up here for you guys to check out.

GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY will be released next Friday, on August 1.
