X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST and WOLVERINE Collection ($99.99) ($89.99)

Last year we featured the complete X-MEN set which is now updated to also include THE WOLVERINE as well as the excellent X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST.  For less than a hundred bucks, you can deliver one of the best series of all time to a loved one (along with X-MEN 3 and ORIGINS).

GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY ($39.99) ($24.99)

Bring home the #1 movie of the year and one of the best summer blockbusters in years.  Marvel outdid themselves with this space opera adventure in the same vein as STAR WARS and INDIANA JONES.  Relive your favorite moments featuring Groot, Rocket, and the rest of the a-holes that make up the Guardians of the Galaxy.

STAR WARS: The Complete Saga ($139.99) ($84.99)

One year from now, we will be talking about the theatrical debut of STAR WARS: EPISODE VII – THE FORCE AWAKENS.  This year, gift that last person you know who doesn't own the original films on Blu-ray for less than a hundred bucks.

THE OFFICE: THE COMPLETE SERIES ($199.99) ($90.30)

Many will say the series declined after the departure of Steve Carell, but there were still some worthwhile moments with Ed Helms in the manager's chair.  With hundreds of episodes to choose from, this is a set worth owning.

STEVEN SPIELBERG DIRECTOR'S COLLECTION ($199.99) ($90.99)

Everyone knows the Spielberg classics, but this set balances blockbusters like JAWS and JURASSIC PARK with lesser known works by the filmmaker like ALWAYS and THE SUGARLAND EXPRESS.  This eight film set may not have some of his more popular works, but it is full of great movies worth owning.

UNIVERSAL CLASSIC MONSTERS: COMPLETE 30-FILM COLLECTION ($149.99) ($65.25)

Before they all get rebooted as PG-13 action franchises, check out this amazingly massive set featuring 30 monster movies from Universal's vault.  Everything is here from DRACULA to THE CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON.  You may not see this set for this cheap again for a long time, so jump on it while you can!

FILM NOIR 10-MOVIE ESSENTIALS COLLECTION ($79.99) ($43.99)

For the cineaste in your life, this collection of 10 great noir classics may not be Blu-ray, but you will still get to see some of the best mysteries ever put to film.

TWIN PEAKS: THE ENTIRE MYSTERY ($134.99) ($84.99)

Another classic series coming back to television, David Lynch's mystery has been released on DVD before, but now the entire show along with the film FIRE WALK WITH ME are in one beautifully packaged Blu-ray.  This is a damn fine package.

TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: THE COMPLETE CLASSIC SERIES COLLECTION ($99.99) ($89.99)

Get every episode of the classic original animated series.  Over 200 episodes on ten discs along with over three hours of bonus features, this set comes in an awesome Turtle Van package.  There are no words for this gift except COWABUNGA!

THE EXPENDABLES 3 ($39.99) ($19.99)

The PG-13 theatrical version felt watered down to many, so enjoy the fully unrated version in the comfort of your own home.  Additional footage and lots more blood grace this potentially closing chapter in the super-action series.  Here's hoping those who downloaded the grainy bootleg are going to pony up for the crisp HD version on Blu-ray.

UNIVERSAL 100TH ANNIVERSARY COLLECTION ($349.99) ($143.99)

25 of Universal's most popular, successful, and iconic films collected along with a special book and a soundtrack CD.  This is a gift for every movie lover in your life.  Plus, for $200 off of retail, you cannot lose with this set.

ALIEN ANTHOLOGY ($99.99) ($41.90)

No one will ever complain about receiving Ridley Scott or James Cameron's classic films as a gift, plus this comes packaged with ALIEN 3 and ALIEN: RESURRECTION for no extra charge!

BREAKING BAD: THE COMPLETE SERIES ($299.99) ($209.99)

BREAKING BAD is over and gone is one of the best television series of all time.  But, get this great box set and relive every magnificent episode whenever you want.  A bunch of cool collectibles are included with the multi-disc set, but I am sure you can already see from the photo below this is worth the two hundred bucks.

TRUE DETECTIVE: SEASON 1 ($79.99) ($39.99)

A masterpiece of filmmaking on the small screen, TRUE DETECTIVE helped reinvigorate the career of Matthew McConaughey while also making Cary Fukunaga the next big thing behind the scenes.  Here's hoping season two lives up to the high bar this mystery set for creator Nic Pizzolatto.

THE WALKING DEAD: COMPLETE SEASON 4 LIMITED EDITION ($129.99) ($75.99)

Many considered the fourth season of AMC's zombie series the best since the first and this latest collector's edition doesn't skimp on the packaging.  Enjoy a zombie bust maquette while watching Rick and company make their way towards the mysterious Terminus.

GAME OF THRONES: SEASON FOUR ($79.99) ($39.99)

Various storylines came to a close and even more excitement was teased for the future in the fourth season of the fantasy series.  The dragons were bigger and the battle scenes more epic than ever.  Definitely the best the show has had to offer so far.

BOARDWALK EMPIRE: SEASON FIVE ($79.99) ($52.49)

HBO's period crime drama came to a close this year with quite a bang and now you can bring home the violence this holiday season!  Chock full of the typical extras, this is the perfect gift to complete your collection.

TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES ($54.99) ($24.99)

TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES was one of the most divisive movies of the year with some fans heralding it as another Michael Bay-tastrophe and others mildly enjoying the update of the classic animated/comic book series.  This may not be a perfect movie, but it should be a good bit of fun for the TMNT fan in your family.

DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES: CAESAR'S WARRIOR COLLECTION ($129.99) ($116.87)

DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES managed to be as good (if not better) than the surprising RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES. With the new film hitting Blu-ray the first week in December, why not shell out for this awesome set collecting both films along with a really cool keepsake shaped like the head of Caesar himself?

CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER ($32.99) ($19.99)

Superhero movies don't tend to get as good as CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER. Steeped in 1970s conspiracy thrillers, the Russo brothers managed to make an action film for adults that still brings out the kid in you. Possibly the best Marvel film to date, this is a movie that deserves to be owned.

BATMAN: THE COMPLETE TELEVISION SERIES ($269.99) ($174.99)

BATMAN as a television series was always a campy, goofy take on the Caped Crusader but one that represented the first live action realization of a superhero for many. Collected on Blu-ray for the first time, this expansive set collects every episode of the classic series along with some cool keepsakes. It may not be Nolan or even Burton, but the 1960s Batman is something just as special.

GODZILLA ($35.99) ($22.99)

Fans finally got a truly great take on GODZILLA with Gareth Edward's big budget take on the monster along with the promise of a lot more to come in the future. The ability to enjoy the action scenes and the human drama in this film are even easier thanks to the Blu-ray edition which is a fine addition to every movie collection.
