Here's the deal: kids scare me. Don't get me wrong, though. I have kids of my own and I think they're cute and all that, but sometimes they do the creepiest things. I mean, what's up with imaginary friends and shite like that? Who the hell are they talking to? And don't get me started on the terror that is other people's children…they're enough to make a fella wanna get a vasectomy to avoid ever bringing evil little devils like that into the world!
But you know what's scarier than small, noisy, annoying little ankle-biting children? Creepy ghost kids, that's what! And these ghostly brats have been a staple of the horror scene for quite some time, delivering the scares in films such as THE RING, THE ORPHANAGE, and SINISTER, just to name a few. Tha's why we're about to deliver the ol' 1-2 knockout combo to this cliche with our latest entry in AITH KNOCKS OUT HORROR CLICHES: CREEPY GHOST CHILDREN.
Our main man Mike Bautista is stepping into the ring to take on this cliche for the third installment of our video series, highlighting some of the scariest ghostly kids to ever grace the screen. A wise man once said "Children should be seen, and not heard", but in the case of this old cliche it's probably better that they're never seen again.
