Cool Quiet posters

I have no idea when (or how) this film, HE WAS A QUIET MAN (being described as a cross between FALLING DOWN and OFFICE SPACE) will be released -- it's been hitting the film festivals for a while now and garnering some sweet buzz-- but like many of you noted last week, the film's TRAILER looks dang interesting, and now Impawards.com has 5 different looks at the film's poster, many of which are begging me to see the movie...like now!

Now if they could only capitalize on the buzz and the cool posters and let us know when/how we can catch the movie...all would be well in the world again. Oh, and did I mention that Elisha Cuthbert is in the film?! (although somewhat unrecognizable) Check out the posters below and click to see enlarged...

Extra Tidbit: Christian Slater's mom, Mary Jo Slater, was the casting director on 4 of the films in which Christian has acted over his career. Nice.

good posters....i feel like i'm back in the pre-Silent Hill days and that we have to now vote on which one we like best. Incidentally, I'm going for the one in the center, just cause of how he appears in the trailer it seems like that one captures the mood of the guy best. The others are too soft (top left), too vague (top right), and too misleading (bottom left -- it makes it look like a revenge flick, which I didn't get from the trailer AT ALL; bottom right -- makes it look like heavy action

Christian Slater in a movie that looks cool? Come on, it has to be trailer trickery. The guy was doing Uwe Boll movies and pointless direct-to-DVD sequels a year ago.

ANOTHER EXTRA TIDBIT

John Gulager, who stars in this movie, also directed the horror movie "Feast".

creepy

Well they cut costs not having to do any makeup work on Slater. Yeah, I'm not really a fan of his, but this movie looks very fucking interesting. Cuthbert looks gorgeous, i mean even more so. Good music too.

I'd go with the poster with all the bullets lined up. The big one of just Slater with, "he seemed such like a nice guy" written on it, doesn't since make much to me.
