Cool Videos Game of Thrones Jason Momoa Khal Drogo Audition Tape HBO Banner

In August, Jason Momoa told AOL when he auditioned for Game of Thrones' Khal Drogo, he was originally given a scene to read that was pretty much just the character saying "no" over and over again. One of his acting friends suggested he should instead try doing a Haka, an ancestral war cry/dance of the Māori people of New Zealand that was usually performed before a battle. Momoa must have thought it was a good idea, because he did perform a Haka for his audition, and it looks like it worked since he ended up landing the role.

This video of Jason Momoa's Haka performance for his Game of Thrones' audition was uploaded to YouTube back in 2012, but it didn't receive a lot of notice until recently. If you haven't seen it already and you're a big Game of Thrones fan, there's a good chance you'll want to check Momoa's audition tape for the HBO series.
