Cool Videos (Exclusive): Bloody good compilation of some of the most shocking and unexpected movie deaths!

Apr. 26, 2013by:

Let's go ahead and start this off with an obvious SPOILER warning. If you are new to movies then this clip ain't for you. If you've been around the block more than a few times then this won't likely ruin anything for you. That said, if you're a spoiler nazi, just steer clear.

Okay, on to business. This compilation of some of the most shocking and surprising movie deaths comes courtesy of digifruitella who put together a damn fine mix of bloody deaths that you likely didn't see coming when you saw the majority of these films the first time. The clip contains surprising demises from a bevy of classics, guilty pleasures, and a few oddities, including: PULP FICTION, RICOCHET, PSYCHO, THE DEPARTED, LAW ABIDING CITIZEN, GOODFELLAS, CHILDREN OF MEN, DEEP BLUE SEA, THE UNTOUCHABLES, COLLATERAL, and many more. If you're a fan of head shots especially, then settle in.

BLAM!:

Pretty good stuff, eh? If you inadvertently spoiled anything for yourself, no worries. That's just some incentive to give the spoiled movie a shot to see if the death was earned. For me, the deaths in THE DEPARTED were the most unforseen upon the initial viewing (and having never seen INFERNAL AFFAIRS) and they always stick with me. I'm always hoping certain people will live each time I watch it again. Ah, well.

How about that 70's movie "Prophecy" about the mutant monster that backhands the kid in the sleeping bag and he goes flying into a rock. That damn near traumatized me as a kid.

Hell yeah! Love that movie. Down from that sleeping bag flew everywhere. Somehow staying in the sleeping bag and jumping around like he was in a sack race was a poor choice of escape . . .

Well done. And nice meaningful touch with the Psycho shower scene at the end.

Anton Chigurh has a couple that get me, particularly Wells, because that whole scene, with the phone ringing, and Wells is still just sitting there. He waits just long enough so that maybe I think he's not gonna do it. And then he does.

Into the Blue

I've always loved Josh Brolin's death scene in this movie...amazing that it scored a PG-13. I remember a time where having the skin and muscle blasted off your skull in an explosion would've been an automatic R...those were the days.

You guys are correct, there are a few missing - however we tried not make the video too long so certain sacrifices had to be made :/. The bulk of the "classic" ones at least made it in. I'm glad you liked it.

Ahh What's In The Box?

Also,
Scream - Granted I was a kid, but seeing Drew Barrymore die in the intro was pretty amazing.
Pet Cemetery- Baby + Semi will still make you jump even when you know it's happening.
Nightmare- Johnny Depp becoming a burst of blood. Seeing it after he became a superstar made it more shocking.
Great compilation.

Employee Of The Month

With Matt Dillon & Christina Applegate. The last 5 minutes of that movie were unexpected deaths.
