Of all the challenges which J.J. Abrams faced in bringing STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS to life, designing a new droid which audiences would embrace just as much as R2-D2 must have been high on the list. Thankfully Abrams and his team were able to achieve just that and the adorable BB-8 frequently stole the show. A great many people were responsible for bringing the little droid to life, including Ben Schwartz (Parks & Recreation) and Bill Hader (Saturday Night Live). The pair were credited as "Vocal Consultants" on the film, but what the heck does that mean? A clip from one of the new features on the recently released Collectors Edition of STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS sheds a little light on that question.

Oh . . . BILL Hader

For a moment, I was confused because I didn't know if Ben Hader existed and was a brother to Bill, even though that didn't seem right. Thankfully, when I watched the video, I realized that Bill Hader, the actor from SNL and frequent voice actor that I thought was involved, was the one helping with voice consulting, as opposed to Ben, who I don't think exists. Funny how the title and the article both mention Ben Hader, but if you mix up a name, you have to commit to it 100%! Though, why not
