In this PSA, James Bond takes on his toughest assignment ever--being a woman.

All "get your ass in kitchen" jokes aside, this short for International Women's Day has some pretty decent names behind it and a strong message. Sam Taylor-Wood (NOWHERE BOY) is the one responsible for the directing and Jane Goldman (KICK-ASS) cooked up the script. Judi Dench reprises her role as "M" with Daniel Craig back as Bond.

Here is more info on the short:

"The film will be screened in cinemas and streamed online in a bid to highlight the levels of inequality that persist between men and women in the UK and worldwide. It is the first film featuring Bond to be directed by a woman."

Extra Tidbit: Hurray up with the new Bond film! I'm dying here!

I'm all for women's rights and everything....

....but seeing Craig slowly stroll out of the darkness with Judi Dench narrating, all I could think was "Goddamn, I can't fucking wait for Bond 23" haha

Did you get the message fellow males? Stop firing women for getting pregnant, stop calling them sluts, and above all, stop sexually assaulting them! Sarcasm aside, I can't help but feel the message would find more traction if they had a more singular focus. Like focusing on the firings of pregnant women and what we can do to stop that. I really don't think we can do a whole lot about discouraging rapists and douchebags who treat women like shit. They're kind of hopeless. As it stands,

As it stands, more people will remember this ad for James Bond being in drag than anything else. Awareness for awareness's sake does nothing.
