COOL VIDEOS: Our tribute to the work of director Tony Scott
Our very own Nick Bosworth put together this outstanding tribute video for the film's of the late director, Tony Scott, which takes you on a journey of his signature moments, while highlighting many of the iconic scenes that cemented him as a filmmaker to be reckoned with. The hazy carnage of crashing cars, the blaze of glory shootouts, and the emotional embrace of his films are chopped together with grace and style, featuring various pieces of music from his many films.
There's been a healthy number of Tony Scott tributes flooding in, but as a tremendous fan of his work, I have to say that this is a truly encompassing piece of work that the director himself would be proud of. Take a few minutes to kick back and soak up some Tony Scott goodness. You'll be glad you did.
So cool:
| Extra Tidbit: | Hans Zimmer and Harry Gregson-Williams were Tony Scott's go-to composers throughout his career, producing some of the best action compositions ever made, including: Days of Thunder, Crimson Tide, True Romance, Spy Game, Deja Vu, etc. If you're ever looking for some great action music, look no further than the films of Tony Scott. |

Funnily enough, I hadn't thought till now how he liked those Mexican Standoffs, True Romance, Enemy of the State, and Domino all showcase that really well.
