I know your countdown clocks are getting a lot of looks these days, as you watch every second that stands in your way of seeing STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS be left in the past. You’re jonesin’ for that STAR WARS fix. The excitement is really brewing. The enthusiasm is pumping through your veins. You can hardly wait.

So let me throw you a bone here, courtesy of Kotaku, that’ll at least hold you over for the next 10 minutes… and that’s a look at the planet of Jakku that we’ll be checking out in a few short weeks.

No, I don’t have any secret special footage from THE FORCE AWAKENS, I can drop on you. However, a few new maps from STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT have been made available to those who pre-ordered the game, and, as Mike Fahey runs around and gets killed by other players, he’ll at least give you an advance look at Jakku on the ground during the battles that leave Star Destroyers crashed into the landscape.
