Cool Videos: The Fantastic Four teaser mashed-up with Interstellar audio

I was quite pleased with the first teaser for THE FANTASTIC FOUR, but like some of you, I also thought it was very similar to the trailers for Christopher Nolan's INTERSTELLAR, especially the first one with Matthew McConaughey's narration. This being 2015 and all, of course someone had to create a mash-up video featuring visuals from the Josh Trank film and the McConaughey dialogue from the INTERSTELLAR trailer.

Check it out:

Although I'm sure Trank wasn't like, "Yeah, let's make THE FANTASTIC FOUR look just like INTERSTELLAR," you can't deny the teaser does feel a hell of a lot like the trailers for Nolan's movie. But I still think it was a very solid first look at the upcoming film, and hopefully we'll get to see a bit more of the superhero team in action (as well as Toby Kebbell's Doom) in the near future.

THE FANTASTIC FOUR opens on August 7, 2015.

Betcha

They cut the trailer to the Interstellar VO, before they had music and VO. This is why it looks so perfect.

One thing is undeniable about that trailer: it's got at least four people in it.

"Although I'm sure Trank wasn't like 'Let's make Fantastic Four look like Interstellar...'"

I disagree. I think it was very deliberate. I think they were trying to emulate the tone of the Interstellar trailer in order to make the film appear deeper and more complex than "just a comic book movie." Which would have worked on me if I didn't already know so many of the elements of the movie that I'm wary of.

Haha

"Be ready for what is coming."

"What is coming?"

McConaughey, "the answers"

That was awesome. Still holding judgment about this, but it has to be better than the Ghostbusters reboot

Holy hell.

It is crazy how much that voice over lines up with the FF trailer. I think that Matthew McConaughey's narration actually has me more excited for the FF movie now.

The trailer wasn't original in the slightest. Felt like a combination and a rip off of a Nolan film and X-Men: Days of Future Past. Shouldn't be surprising though, considering how much this film will suck.

Did you ever consider that is because story telling, even in a short trailer format, has a certain formula for build up, climax, and conclusion? There is a science to all of it, and I think the Fantastic Four trailer did exactly what it needed to.

I understand that there's a format for a trailer, but the similarities between Nolan's films, X-Men, and this are too much that it feels like it was put together without much effort.
