Cool Videos: Wes Anderson horror spoof "The Midnight Coterie of Sinister Intruders" on SNL

If Wes Anderson ever decided to branch out and make a horror film, is this what it would look like?

This weekend on SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE guest host and Anderson alum Edward Norton helped to lead a horror spoof that captured the director's style. While I don't think this is exactly how it would be, in a comedic aspect it's pretty dead-on.

The fake trailer "The Midnight Coterie of Sinister Intruders" is cute, and hits all the correct hipster notes. That's not meant badly, as I love the world that Anderson creates with each flick. You can catch Norton next in his second Anderson's outing, THE GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL.

Check it out below and let us know if you think it's an accurate parody.

I was flipping channels at night and came across this, even though I never watch SNL anymore. And it was great. One of the funniest mock-trailers I've seen in a long time. If SNL gives us more skits like this I'll have to watch it more often.

Now I really want to see Wes Anderson do a horror movie. Or at least a homage to the likes of Hitchcock, Polanski, and Argento. I mean a lot of his characters are borderline sociopathic anyway.

Anderson would totally do this!

What makes this hilarious is just how much it feels like an Anderson film.

"...Picture of Edith Piaf..."

Edward Norton and Tom Hidleston should have an Owen Wilson impression-off and you could have Loki vs. Hulk, again, kinda. Norton would probably win. Great sketch SNL put together!
