Craig for Bond 4x
Oct. 29, 2007
So good was Daniel Craig at re-inventing James Bond as the gritty, darkly brooding, deeply flawed, testicle torture tolerating super spy that we all knew he should be, MGM has apparently locked (scroll down a bit) him for a grand total of four more films. CASINO ROYALE and the soon-to-be filming BOND 22 are part of the deal so it seems we'll be seeing Craig's ruggedly handsome mug for at least two more films after that. It's my understanding that actors usually sign on to a three-picture deal for franchise films but it seems MGM thought Craig too important to this Bond reboot to not get him for one more than usual. As mentioned, Craig will soon be renewing his license to kill for a November 7th, 2008 release.
||Craig is the first Bond actor to have been born after the Bond series began.
