The Devil's Rejects Rob Zombie Danny Trejo

Last week, Rob Zombie announced that he would be releasing five teaser character posters for his new film 3 FROM HELL, a sequel to HOUSE OF 1000 CORPSES and THE DEVIL'S REJECTS. The fact that there was going to be five of them was very intriguing to me – three are obvious, as the returning characters of Otis (Bill Moseley), Baby (Sheri Moon Zombie), and Captain Spaulding (Sid Haig) have to get their own posters. They are the 3 FROM HELL. And the first poster released was indeed an Otis poster. But who else from the film would warrant a poster?

One of the two mystery characters is featured on the second poster. On this one we have Danny Trejo, reprising his THE DEVIL'S REJECTS role of bounty hunter Rondo. It looks like Rondo has run into some legal trouble since we last saw him, which makes sense given his homicidal methods. Hopefully this poster means that Rondo has been promoted into having a bigger role this time around.

There is no official synopsis available for 3 FROM HELL. So far we've only been able to gather that Otis, Baby, and Captain Spaulding survived the shootout at the end of THE DEVIL'S REJECTS, are locked up in prison, and there seems to be a "Free the Three" / "Free Baby" movement going on among some members of the public.

In the cast with Moseley, Moon Zombie, Haig, and Trejo are David Ury, Jeff Daniel Phillips, Richard Brake, Dee Wallace, Pancho Moler, Austin Stoker, Emilio Rivera, Tom Papa, Dot-Marie Jones, Richard Edson, Richard Riehle, Kevin Jackson, Billy Blair, Steven Michael Quezada, Bill Oberst Jr., Sylvia Jefferies, Sean Whalen, Clint Howard, and Daniel Roebuck.

Zombie will begin editing the film in September for a 2019 release.
