Darren Aronofsky’s Jackie is not a biopic says Rachel Weisz

Last time we talked about the JACKIE biopic from Darren Aronofsky, it was to say that it was happening and Rachel Weisz would take on the role of Jackie Kennedy Onassis.

Now, it’s not a biopic says Weisz, “It’s a very beautiful script. I think it’s the four or five days after the assassination and how [Jackie] deals with the assassination and the funeral. It’s not a biopic. Its about that short period of time. I’m thrilled at the idea of working with [Aronofsky] again.”

There still aren’t really any details beyond that. The film was originally supposed to be set up for HBO, but then switched gears to become a theatrical release.

Weisz is scared, yet excited to fill Onassis’s shoes, ” [It’s] the best way to do any job. Fear is part of it all. I need fear. Fear and excitement.”

Aronofsky is still working on BLACK SWAN and never remaking ROBOCOP. Sorry. It will never be mentioned again…at least from me anyway.

Yes please.
