When we last left Elle Driver, she was violently flailing in Buck's trailer after Beatrix Kiddo aka "The Bride" (Uma Thurman) plucked out her one good eye.

Kiddo walks right out the door with no regrets of what she's done, and just leaves Driver there to fend for herself. That's the end of Driver, or at least that's what we thought.

Daryl Hannah who plays the vicious Driver insinuates in an interview with Film24 that this isn't the end of her character. "He always meant it as a trilogy," Hannah says of Quentin Tarantino's plans.

So, what does Hannah think will become of Driver? "Think about it. There's always been a tradition of blind Samurais and you never actually saw her expire in the other film." Girls got a point. Tarantino loves to drop hints himself, but hardly anything is known about the third installment except for the fact that it's due in 2014.

Sadly, those were the only tidbits Hannah gave out. I'll wait as long as I possibility have to for the next film. I wonder if Driver will fight Kiddo's Daughter, B.B. That would be an interesting battle.

2 problems i see
1) A Prequel's pretty much a no-go because there's no Bill...

2) A Sequel can't be called Kill Bill3 so really he'll just be making the same movie for a third time, trying to sell a whole new concept(as far as the dumb audience knows).. he's told his story already i feel but hey, if he's really making a 3rd im sure he'll make it great

Well, as its already been stated...
...either extend upon Elle Driver's character or Copperhead's (Vivica Fox) daughter growing up and seeking revenge on Kiddo in some way for killing mommy. (She DID say she'd be waiting if she wanted revenge) Or, focus on when everyone was already trained, working for Bill and STILL talking to one another and they're on a BIG asassination job. That might be cool.

I would rather a Basterds prequel than Bill sequel. However, I'm still interested to see Nikki go after the Bride.

nice!!
i still think this should be a prequel.."before bill" acctually get into what all these assisins were doing before bill trained them, how he found them. what happened between he and his brother budd.. there is a lot of unanswered things he could branch off of..hell he could probably do another 2 movies with the same type of continuation sequence.

well that is true but he could do what he did in kill bill 1 and just have a voice and a guy in a chair holding his katana..idk

I'm pretty sure Beatrix is not going to train BB to fight because she wants her to have a fresh start, which is why she left Bill in the first place.

Driver returning as a blind samurai, it sounds great to me, and I like the suggestion someone gave of the third film being called "Kill Kiddo".

Tarantino sequels...
I gotta say the guy is like Darren Aronofsky. They make a movie like once every few years and in the middle of projects they keep being rumored and attached to many a project. I'm not against this idea but I just remember his Vegas Brothers project, and even Inglorious Basterds was something he'd had floating around as a rumored project for a while before he eventually got it made.

I gotta say though. I'm more interested in seeing this story continue then another Basterds or even Pulp Fiction spinoff.

This is never going to happen. Tarantino is obviously looking to do some new stuff as was made apparent with "Inglourious Basterds." It's a good concept to think about though.

Exactly, it was "always meant" as one movie 'til it got split into two.

I always felt she would be some sort of evil Zatoichi in the end. The "???" status they gave her in the credits to Vol.II somehow told me that it was trying to be obvious but remaining subtle - don't ask me how. Either way: Hell yeah!!!
