Dead by Daylight releases new Leatherface DLC content!

DEAD BY DAYLIGHT is an asymmetrical survival horror game that is similar to the recent FRIDAY THE 13th game where it's four survivors trying to survive the attacks of one killer based off slasher movie archetypes. Now, unlike FRIDAY THE 13th, DEAD BY DAYLIGHT isn't tied to any specific license, therefore all the killers are original to the game; though, it does grant you the ability to play as The Shape (or Michael Myers) from the HALLOWEEN franchise.

However you can now also play as Leatherface from THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE! This will mark his second videogame cameo, since he's also a DLC character for MORTAL KOMBAT X. Anyway, here's the official press release:

Starbreeze Publishing together with Behaviour Digital are today releasing the infamous character Leatherface as a killer in Dead by Daylight.  Leatherface first appeared in the 1974 classic The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and has since become a pop culture icon , terrifying audiences across 8 films.

Leatherface will bring a new set of perks, his iconic chainsaw and will additionally wield a sledgehammer – both weapons of doom that will surely instill fear in all Survivors.
