Don't get too excited for this first pic from the set of part one of HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS. The only questions it really answers are “What will Harry's hair look like this year?” and “How many awful patterns can Ron mix in one outfit?”

The photo comes from USA today, who talked a little to the actors and director of the last film(s) about the goings on in the final chapter of the Potter saga.

"They're paranoid," says Grint. "It's quite a scary world because the Snatchers and Death Eaters are running around everywhere. Harry, Ron and Hermione are just camping out in random places, living rough, in regular clothes."

Oh I guess that explains the patterns. Just grab whatever you can while sprinting out the door. Allegedly the first film will be all about running, and the second all about fighting. And nary a Quidditch game in sight! Too bad.

Split = Money grab
Deathly Hallows was no more in need of a "split" than the 4th, 5th or 6th books. This is purely an "oh, shit, our golden goose is almost out of eggs" reaction.



The worst part about this is that Deathly Hallows is one of the worst "finale" books I've ever read, making the "2 movie climax" version of this an insult to everyone.

On the contrary, I think DH is one of the best finale books I've ever read. Its all just opinionated.

I finally went to see a h.p movie this year(seen the others on dvd)thought i might enjoy it but didn't.What was creepy was watching the reaction of the 30 something woman next to me getting over excited watching the film.

CREEPER ALERT!!!
I always get a little creeped out when grown men start perving on Emma Watson...she's still a kid for crying out loud!! Either way, I'm STOKED for this flick. I love these movies AND the books!!

Emma is 19, and I'm 22 - I'd say it's all good. And you can bet most users on here are in their 20s. So, again, it's all good.

I love this series! Deathly Hallows will no doubt be the best and certainly the most epic installment. I like the split idea.

If done right, this last film could be epic (seeing as the last few were just build up to this point). Splitting it into 2 movies was a good move, it was the only way to do it justice. I only wish John Williams was coming back to do the music.

Hermione looks so grown and filled out! it's seems just like yesterday when she was just a little girl... but now is probably the only reason why dudes will go and see this (these) film (s) since Deathly Hallows is being split into two films.

Nothing can ever or will ever top the books in my opinion. The movies are alright... but they're too slow and boring. It doesn't work as well as a movie as it does as a book series.

SLOW?? I'd think too fast to even clearly comprehend whats happening on the screen. But you're right, Movies are fairly good, the books should never even compared with the film versions.

The last two movies have been really disappointing for me, so I'm not really that interested in this series anymore.
