There was a lot of sad going around when Guillermo del Toro decided to drop THE HOBBIT. But now Peter Jackson has agreed to helm the project, so no more tears.

Sam Raimi left Spider-Man 4 because he and Sony could not come to an agreement on the vision for the film. Then in turn this left Raimi with more time to concentrate on his WORLD OF WARCRAFT movie.
Collider recently caught up with both directors at the Saturn Awards. They cover several topics with del Toro and Raimi. Expect some lengthy details from Raimi on WARCRAFT and del Toro talks about THE HOBBIT situation.
