Diaz is a Bad Teacher | Movie News
With the implausible success of THE HANGOVER, everyone is looking for their own crude comedy to bring in big bucks.
Who better to get than someone who helped invigorate the gross-out comedy genre to begin with?
THERE'S SOMETHING ABOUT MARY's object of infatuation Cameron Diaz will star in Columbia's BAD TEACHER, a raunchy comedy from "The Office" writers Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky.
The movie will feature Diaz as "a foulmouthed, gold-digging middle-school teacher who, after getting dumped by her boyfriend, competes with a colleague for the affections of the school's model teacher."
Perhaps the best part is that the movie will come from Jake Kasdan, director of underappreciated efforts ZERO EFFECT and THE TV SET.

Extra Tidbit: Kasdan's father Lawrence is also a filmmaker who wrote screenplays for a few movies you might know: SILVERADO, RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK and THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK.
