Brandon Routh may have put away his Superman tights while Lex Luthor takes a break, but his new nemesis has a similar hairstyle (or lack of) and chews more than scenery.
In DEAD OF NIGHT, Routh’s Dylan Dog will face off with vampire villain Taye Diggs (HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL, EQUILIBRIUM), according to STYD. The movie is adapted from a long-running Italian comic about a charismatic but neurotic London-based “nightmare investigator” who looks into all things supernatural.
Kevin Munroe (TMNT) is directing the monster-filled action-horror, set to start shooting in the vampire-populated city of New Orleans. Routh’s SUPERMAN RETURNS co-star Sam Huntington is already in the cast, along with adorable Icelandic gal Anita Briem (JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH), who’ll play Dylan’s love interest (again via STYD).
