Twitter has been around for seven years but I feel like it's only been in the last couple of years that people have been able to figure out how to use the social networking service to its full potential. This is particularly true with people in the film industry. While some directors love to work in secrecy, others really want to connect with their fans and promote whatever project they may be working on. They know fully well that CNN or THR aren't going to care about some random picture from the set of MAN OF STEEL or PACIFIC RIM but they also know that there are people out there that live off of every bit of news that is released for a particular film.

Marc Webb is very active with his Twitter and has tweeted a bunch of pictures while filming THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2. Webb has released two more pictures and this time the images are of the director inside a chamber that appears in the movie. Of course it isn't revealed what the chamber is for but it looks big enough for a rhino...

THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 has been filming for almost two months now and they're not done yet so I'm sure Marc Webb will continue to drop more images and teases for us to speculate about.

Synopsis:

In THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy - between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can't come quickly enough. Peter hasn't forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen's father to protect her by staying away - but that's a promise he just can't keep. Things will change for peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx) emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan) returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.

THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 hits theaters on May 2nd, 2014.

Why is Peter Graduating already?? I thought this series of films was about Peter in High School?? They should of done at least 3 movies with him as a teeny bopper...but I guess college will do too...just as long as we don't get the Peter that's already working a 9 to 5 and no school...I like the school going kid with super abilities...

Best person to follow on twitter? CM PUNK

I wasn't a huge fan of the first film (mostly b/c of my friend and his giant mancrush he has on Andrew Garfield), but I like what I've seen so far with the photos and the casting (cept with the Paul GIamitti smokescreen, just admit he's JJJ already). It's got great potentiall to be one of if not the best sequel to a Marvel superhero movie ever.

Get out of here with that best Marvel sequel ever bullshit.

Have you seen any of the other Marvel sequels? Spider Man 2, Blade II, or Iron Man 2? I doubt it will be better than any three of these.

Or can't believe I even forgot this...X-Men 2. Which is arguably the best Marvel sequel next to Spider Man 2.

Really? How can you say that about a film that you haven't even seen yet? Granted nor have I, but the original film set a good foundation for better things to come that the original series didn't or failed to do. It was a good origin story (way better than the original) and brought along better, more complex, and interesting characters. Basically it's a matter of opinion.

Spiderman 2 was the best out of an extremely corney/over the top franchise. Comparing it to spiderman 1 and 3 would be like comparing Empire strikes back to Phantom Menace and Revenge of the Sith. I really don't care if you disagree with me, look back as the series now, it doesn't hold up as much. It's over the top, has HORRIBLE, GOD AWFUL DIALOGUE (especially the first one), Has moments that take you out of the film (the extras/secondary characters in Spidey 2) and do I really have to say anything about 3?

Blade 2 I won't argue, it was badass, and currently is the best superhero sequel marvel has made, but the Blade franchise has always been undermined by the other/more popular Marvel superheros.

Iron Man 2, do I really need to argue this? Iron Man 2 was nearly the same movie as Iron Man, nearly beat for beat, it brought barely anything new to the story (war machine which we all knew was coming) and had one of the worst villains in Marvel history. Justin Hammer (won't bash Rockwell for his performance, just his character was so awful... He's an incompetent weapons manufacturer who makes awful weapons... HILARIOUS!)

X-Men 2, I enjoyed a lot, but like spiderman the second film just seems to be in a league of it's own, 1 laid the foundation and didn't do anything memorable imo, and 3... Ya 3 never happened.

I'll give you that Marvel Sequels that are coming have more potential to outdo the sequels that we've been given so far, you know as well as I do that Avengers 2 is going to blow everything away. But please don't go as far as to say Iron man 2 is among the best Marvel Sequels of all time. I know i won't change your mind on this, nor would I want to, guess the best way to resolve this is to say to each's own.

I have a hard time listening to a persons opinion about superhero movies, when their avatar is the Green Lantern movie. Not Marvel but damn, that's the superhero movie you decide on?

REVENGE OF THE SITH to me was the best STAR WARS film aside from EMPIRE, so how could you even make a statement like that in comparing them like if SITH was a Retarded younger brother. I can understand that you're one of those old school STAR WARS cultists, but you can't really believe that if SPIDERMAN 1 & 3 are corny that HOPE & JEDI are not. If so then you are surely dillusional my friend.

@Jeff Knite

you're more than welcome to think that. Personally there are things in JEDI/HOPE that I can't defend (ewoks) that SITH did right (Palpatine owned in that movie) and Star Wars was always corny. Hell, the first characters your'e introduced to is C3PO and R2D2 the prime definition of corny.

Fact is, we all have different opinions about film, while you may love Revenge of the Sith the most, to me, it's the 3rd/4th best in the series. I'm not shitting on your favorite movies, no
